No prior experience needed. P3 Media is designed to take you from curious beginner to work-ready journalist. The only requirement is genuine passion for media and storytelling.

We record all studio sessions and share them with enrolled students. However we strongly encourage attendance as studio practice is irreplaceable.

P3 Media is actively building MOU partnerships with leading Bengali media houses for internship and placement. Details will be announced before Batch 2026 begins.

Absolutely. The free YouTube lessons and paid online modules are fully self-paced. Only the offline studio sessions require you to be present on weekends.

All content is bilingual — Bengali and English. Classes are conducted primarily in Bengali with key technical terms in English, exactly as working journalists communicate.

P3 Media is led by four professionals who between them bring over 80 years of combined experience in media, broadcasting, journalism, business development and institutional leadership.

Partha Mukhopadhyay is a distinguished journalist with over 36 years of experience in South Asian media and broadcast journalism. A journalism graduate from the University of Calcutta, he began his career with All India Radio, Kolkata before serving in senior editorial roles at Bartaman Patrika and Sangbad Pratidin as Principal Correspondent. Over the years, he has worked with leading media organisations including BBC World Service (Bengali), Zee News, Zee Bangla News, SBS Radio Australia, Orange TV, and S Newz. He has also represented several national newspapers in Bangladesh as their India Correspondent. With extensive experience across print, television, and international broadcasting, Partha brings deep editorial expertise, credible storytelling, and strategic leadership to the newsroom.

Director of Business Development

Prasanta Gangopadhyay is a veteran media professional with over 38 years of experience in broadcasting, journalism, and public communication. He has served as an announcer with All India Radio Kolkata and as an FM presenter for Rainbow FM and Gold FM. A senior freelance corporate journalist with ABP, he has also been a television interviewer and moderator. A Grade-I Artist and Anchor empanelled with the Government of West Bengal, he is the Editor of a magazine, Director of a renowned educational group, a former Railway Board Member, and an active member of the Calcutta Journalists' Club.
